CUEA Audits South Sudan Affiliate

A team led by our Academic Linkages Department visited the Catholic University of South Sudan (CUofSS) from September 6-10, 2026 for an academic audit.

The team comprised of Sr. Dr. Bibiana Ngundo, Coordinator, Academic Linkages, Mr. Marcellus Otieno, Coordinator, Quality Assurance and Ms. Rosa Kinaka, Acting University Librarian.

They were received by the Vice-Chancellor of CUofSS, Br. Dr. Bruno A. Dada (a CUEA Alumnus) together with his management team. CUofSS has been affiliated to CUEA since 2012. CUEA awards degrees to CUofSS graduates.

This visit was part of the routine monitoring and quality audit done every 4 years on all constituent and affiliate colleges. During the visit, the current programs were evaluated, infrastructure, and staff mentorship done.

Founded in 2008, (now in its 18th year of existence), the Catholic University of South Sudan (CUofSS) based in Juba has continued to grow. Currently, CUofSS has a population of about 2,300 students.

To date, CUofSS has graduated thirteen (13) batches, producing over 3,000 alumni who are actively contributing to the social, economic, and institutional development of South Sudan and beyond.
