Mary Mugure Kung'u is a Tutorial Fellow and Head of Department of Nursing at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, where she has worked since April 2019, first as clinical instructor and then, from April 2020, as tutorial fellow. Her responsibilities include lecturing, evaluation and administration of exams, research supervision, assessment and mentoring of students, and collaboration with training institutions and hospitals. She has previously worked as an ICU nurse at War Memorial Hospital and on a cholera management contract at Nakuru County Referral Hospital. She has published research on the quality of life of cancer patients and survivors in Kenya, reflecting her specialization in oncology nursing.
