Henry Kimani Mburu, PhD CPA, is a Senior Lecturer specializing in Accounting in the Department of Accounting and Finance, School of Business and Economics. He teaches a broad range of undergraduate courses including Basic Accounting, Cost Accounting and Business Research Methods, and postgraduate courses including Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting and Accounting Theory and Practice. He has held positions of Head of Department, Dean of School of Business, Credit Controller, and Coordinator of Curriculum Development. His consulting experience includes project evaluation, curriculum review, financial management for self-reliance in churches, and strategic planning and review. He has served as a visiting lecturer at local universities (Strathmore University and Tangaza University College) and abroad (Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, and Morgan State University), and is a reviewer, discussant and presenter at conferences of the American Accounting Association and a reviewer for the Journal of International Business Education, as well as a Staff Exchange fellow of the Association of African Universities.
