CUEA Hosts Youth from Charity Fathers, Rimpa, for Inspirational Campus Visit

On Thursday, 23rd April 2026, The Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) had the joy of hosting youths and children from Charity Fathers, Rimpa in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado County, Kenya. The day-long visit was filled with inspiration, learning and faith as the young visitors experienced life on a vibrant Catholic university campus.

A Warm Welcome and Campus Tour

The visitors were warmly received at the main campus and taken through a guided tour of CUEA's modern facilities. Highlights included a visit to the University Library , where they explored the reading halls, research cubicles and book collections, gaining a first-hand feel of an academic environment.

Community Mass

The group joined the CUEA community for the daily Community Mass, a cherished spiritual moment that brings together students, staff and visitors in prayer and fellowship — a defining mark of life at CUEA.

Engagement with Senior Administration

A central highlight of the visit was an interactive session with members of CUEA's senior administration, including the Vice Chancellor, Very Rev. Prof. Stephen Mbugua Ngari , and the Student Recruitment team . The Vice Chancellor warmly addressed the youth, encouraging them to dream big, pursue education with discipline, and ground their lives in faith and values.

The Student Recruitment team took the youth through CUEA's wide range of academic offerings — from Certificate and Diploma programmes to Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral degrees across the university's faculties and schools.

Campus Visits Are Always Welcome

CUEA frequently hosts students, schools, parishes and other organised groups for campus visits and guided tours.
