Isaac Odhiambo Okwany holds a PhD from Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (2016-2022), an MSc from Maseno University, and a BEd in Mathematics and Chemistry from Egerton University. He has been a full-time lecturer at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa since 1 September 2022, having previously worked as a part-time lecturer at Rongo University and at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology. His research focuses on norms and numerical radii inequalities for derivations induced by orthogonal projections. He attracted National Research Fund financing for this research topic and is supervising postgraduate students, including Agnes Wacuka Njeri and Grace Mumbanu Maithya, at CUEA. He has authored multiple publications in mathematics journals.
