The ICT department is recognized for offering the backbone infrastructure that the University runs on. It provides technical support.i.e. Optimal application of available resources and ability to create and deliver high-quality ICT services in line with the mission of the university.

These services are delivered through an ICT infrastructure that is comprehensive, up-to-date, responsive, reliable and available.

In accordance with the Strategic Plan, an autonomous ICT department was inaugurated in September 2007 to enable CUEA raise the status of its ICT systems as a prerequisite for the university to remain relevant and competitive in Higher Education today.

The department is also recognized for offering the backbone infrastructure that the University runs on. It provides technical support.i.e.optimal application of available resources and ability to create and deliver high-quality ICT services in concern with the mission of the university.

Services
The ICT Department provides a comprehensive range of services and support to staff and students, including:

An ICT help desk that responds to all requests from University offices.
E-mail services to CUEA community
Internet & Intranet access
Backbone Communication Infrastructure (LAN & WAN) maintenance
Network configuration (Wired or Wireless)
Database Administration and Software Development
In-house Training (end-users)
Phone services support mainly the university switchboard
Student computing support (computer labs)
Servers, Internet proxy, File services and Storage
Anti-virus and Security Updates
Maintenance of CUEA Website
