cuso201415The new Catholic University of Eastern Africa Student Organization (CUEASO) 2014/2015 officials from CUEA’s Lang’ata campus were sworn into office on 31st April 2014. During the event the outgoing CUEASO 2013/2014 student leaders handed over their respective files to the new student leaders.

Congratulating the new students, the Vice Chancellor,

citycampuscomserve2CUEA’s Nairobi City Campus undertook its first Community Service on 29th March 2014 at the Missionaries of Charity, Home of Peace, Kasarani. Staff, faculty and students from the Nairobi City Campus distributed foodstuff, clothing and assisted in folding of clean clothes, preparation of food, cutting firewood and feeding the patients.

fundraisingBrian Obiero, Mr. CUEA 2013/2014 in partnership with the University’s Pro Life Club and the Association for the International Exchange of Students in Economics and Commerce (AISEC) Club held a fundraising initiative at the cafeteria on 25th March 2014, in support of the Kenya Christian Professional Forum (KCPF), Linda Uhai Walk.

mou signingOn 25th March 2014, The Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) and Linux Professional Institute (LPI) signed a Memorandum of Agreement at the Vice Chancellors boardroom. This partnership between CUEA and LPI seeks to empower CUEA students with proficiency skills in Linux.

medicaldayThe University’s Human Resources Department held a Medical Education Day on patient’s rights on 19th March 2014 at Missio Hall. The guest speaker was Dr. Matthew Ng’etich, a specialist medical doctor in preventive health measures.
