On the evening of Monday April 13, 2015 the University held a service to pray for the victims and relatives of the Garissa University College terrorist attack.
Students and staff filled Missio hall whereby there was candle lighting, prayers and messages of solidarity with the victims and their families.
In one voice, they all condemned the attack and urged for extra caution in the management of security in our campuses.
Meanwhile the University is assuring its students and other clients that they have enhanced security in all the campuses and is moving swiftly to put in more stringent measures.
Partly, Gate D, the direct access gate to LRC from Bogani Road has been closed indefinitely. Gate C is also closed for maintenance and erection of a gate.
Students, staff, visitors and other clients are asked to comply with security checks and requirements at all times.
Last Friday, the University made a donation to the families of the victims at Chiromo. This was from a collection made by the CUEA family during the Thursday community mass.
