This week (from Nov 13), 20 member representatives are in South Africa for a high level international seminar on how higher education can meet the changing needs of employment, and next month we will be holding a residential school in Malaysia for students as part of our Respect campaign.
We're particularly pleased to announce the launch of the Commonwealth Rutherford Fellowships, offering opportunities for researchers from across the Commonwealth to undertake post-doctoral study in the UK.
Finally, we will welcome new members of our Council to the UK next week for our annual general meeting – it was great to meet with Professor Chakma, our new Chair, in Canada last month and explore collaboration opportunities there. I am keen to continue meeting as many members as possible to keep learning from and helping our fantastic network.
