Dr. Kim a motivational speaker from South Korea, gave a lecture on Mind Set Learning at the University’s auditorium on Thursday, Jan 19. The talk was attended by the new students and some staff as well.
During the lecture he described mind set as the only thing that world needs in order to change. Everyone needs to change their mind set for success. Great achievements entail controlling your mind on how you view life generally with the right mind set.
In his speech, he quoted simple inspirational words from the most successful people in the world. For example; “I failed in some subjects in exams but my friend passed in all. Now he is an engineer in Microsoft and am the owner of Microsoft”, Bill Gates.
“If today were the last day of my life, would I do what I’m about to do today?” Steve Jobs.
“No matter how much you fall you ought to rise again and again”, Nick Vujicic.
He added that as much as emotional quotient (EQ) and intelligence quotient are different, for the right mind set they have to work together.
Dr. Kim is a well known motivational speaker born and brought up in New York originating from South Korea. He has signed an MOU with President Kenyatta to train the NYS and the parliamentarians here in the country.
