into the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Programme.

year Programme

A
minimum of C+ mean grade in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary
Education or its equivalent with at least a C plain in
Mathematics OR a principal pass in Mathematics or
Physics in the Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education or its
equivalent.

Holders
of a two year diploma in a relevant area from a recognized institution
with at least a mean grade of C (plain) in the Kenya Certificate of
Secondary Education or its equivalent

year Programme

At
least two principal passes, one of which must be in either Mathematics
or Physics, in the Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education or GCE
A-level or their equivalent.

– year Diploma in a relevant area from a recognized
institution.
2 year Programme
NB:
Internal
Diplomas given by government institutions other than National
Polytechnics will be required to be equated by the Kenya
National Examination Council to be recognized.

Holders of IMIS ordinary diploma with a minimum
of C (plain) mean grade and a C plain in Mathematics can be admitted in
the 4-year programme.

Holders
of IMIS Higher Diploma can be admitted in the 3-year programme.

with at least a credit pass in the subject of choice and at least a
mean grade of C (plain) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education
or its equivalent

– year Programme

Education or GCE A-level or their equivalent.

Advanced diploma in a related area with at
least a mean grade of C (plain) and at least of a C plain in the
subject of choice in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education or
its equivalent.
2
– Year Programme
MASTER OF SCIENCE PROGRAMMES.
- A
Bachelors Degree in a relevant area with at least an Upper Second Class
Honours from a recognized university.
- A
Bachelors Degree from a recognized University with a minimum of Lower
Second Class Honours and at least 2 years work experience in a relevant
area OR
- Any
other qualification accepted by the University Senate as equivalent to
any of the above.

Entry Requirements:
- Applicants
who do not satisfy CUEA's departmental entry requirements in
Mathematics but have a minimum mean grade of C+ OR candidates who have
a minimum mean grade of C (plain) in KCSE and wish to improve
Mathematics but do not intend to join CUEA.
