Library access catalogs
|
The library has an automated or online public access catalogs and a back-up card catalog. The online catalogs consist of CUEA OPAC, Union Catalog, CUEA Periodicals and CUEA Thesis/dissertations and projects. The OPAC assist patrons in locating information resources available while at CUEA library. The Union Catalog provides an excellent opportunity to access numerous other information resources available in other consortium libraries namely CUEA, Consolata, Hekima, Marist & Tangaza. CUEA Periodicals inform users about the journal holdings at CUEA library. CUEA Thesis/dissertations and projects also help the users to identify thesis, dissertations and projects available in the library. In addition a back-up card catalog just assists the users in case the computers are down. |
Internet services

The Internet offers a wide range of information and communication services including access to electronic journals or online databases free of charge. However these services are available only for research purposes. |
Compact disc (cds) searches
|
This provides access to abstracted, indexed journals and other general information. |
User education services
|
The library offers orientation program including a course on Information and Computer Literacy Skills to all new users. However user education is an on-going process. |
Photocopying services
|
These are services available on campus for every library user.
